The Drew HHI Health Leadership Academy will hold it’s second session, Wednesday, December 14, from  9:00-11:00 a.m., at MidSOUTH Training Academy.

“Diversity:  Is it for All of US?” is the title of the session.

This training will offer participants the opportunity to enhance their understanding of issues surrounding diversity.  Participants will recive information to increase recognition of sterotypes and gain an appreciation of the difference of individuals.  Topic areas to be addressed include:  Defining Diversity, Defining Prejudice, Barriers to Diversity, Defining Stereotypes Stepts to Deal with Diversity, and Your Role in Promoting Diversity.

Drew HHI will hold its monthly meeting following this session.  Lunch will be provided at the meeting and everyone is welcome to attend.
