Drew County GOP Seeks Candidates for upcoming Mayoral Race
March 14th, 2014 by SubmittedThe Republican Party of Drew County was saddened by the news this week of the death of Mayor Allen Maxwell. His service to the city of Monticello and the Great State of Arkansas are to be applauded. Whichever side you fall on politically it is always a sacrifice to serve the people while in office.
It is with the utmost respect and humility that the Drew County Republican Party will be taking nominations in the near future to select a candidate to file for the upcoming special election. The dates for the election have not been set at this time but will presumably be in the next couple of months.
