Pictured are the children who participated in this year’s St. Jude Math-a-Thon for Drew Central Elementary: Not in order, Rachel Shirey, Mayia Gulley, Kelsea Majors, Sarah Pennington, Samantha Pennington, Katilyn Harris, Jake Harris, Deaunna Bodiford, Waldo Laeskei, Maci Estelle, Lacey Rae, Armon Youngblood, Charlie Courtney, Mistee Pamplin. 

These children raised almost $800.00 dollars for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. 

The students received a certificate, a free pass to Six Flags and a t-shirt, and a backpack. 

Rachel Shirey was the top winner raising over $125.00 and also winning a shower radio. Waldo Laeskei was the second highest winner with $94.00.

This year’s Math-a-Thon was dedicated in memory of Charlotte Haynes, Rachel Shirey’s late great-grandmother, whose favorite charity was St. Jude.
