Kelly Griffin, as coach, took (two) five-member teams to the state Envirothon Competition at the University of Central Arkansas Campus.

The annual event was held November 18 and 19th.  Competitors were tested in Aquatics, Wildlife, Soils, Forestry, and a Special Topics section that is different every year.

Team #1 members included Darren James, Camisha Johnson, Matthew McKeown, Dusty Barnett and Kyle White.

 Team #2 members were Krista Jones, Bobby Person, Andra Barnette,Landon Owens and Dayton Pharr.

Dennis Thurman served as chaperone for the teams.  Drew County Conservation District and the Drew Central school administration funded
the trip.
