The Drew Central Football team kicked off its 2008 Football Season with a Red/White Scrimmage, recently, at their new field behind Drew Central High School.
Coach Brandon Barbaree had asked that donations of towels, soap, laundry detergent or blank DVDs be brought as admission to the game.
The Drew Central Booster Club was there and sold booster club memberships, t-shirts, yard signs and pirate decals, to support the Pirates.
