The Drew Central 10th-12th grade Concert Choir, went to UCA to compete at State Festival Competition Thursday and did a superb job.

They got an overall score of I, or superior, which means a large plaque and an impressive Sweepstakes trophy since they earned the same ratings at the Region Competition

It turned out to be an interesting trip with all the weather problems in that part of the state.

Congratulate them if you see them, this is a great achievement!

Thank you to all of you who support the choir program.

The choir is current working on the musical, “Oh Horrors! It’s Murder!”  It is kind of like the game of “Clue,” with a lot of audience participation to try and figure out who the killer is.
Make plans now to attend on May 9th.  Hopefully they will be able to do a school performance, and a public performance will be at 7:00, that evening.
