Workers poured concrete Thursday for the base of the new stoplight at the north entrance to Wal-Mart on Thursday. After more than a year and a half of deliberations, city officials were able to convince Wal-Mart to fully fund the installation of the traffic light on Highway 425 North. The light should be functioning sometime toward the middle to end of December.

It’s about time. They sure need that with all the traffic on that busy highway. My Sister Diana Harton told me about it and then I read it on ML.

This is a MUCH needed addition. Anyone who has ever tried to turn LEFT out of that Wal-Mart entrance can attest to that. It seems that about every three days or so I drive by and see another traffic accident at that location.
