DMH & CARTI Partner to Provide Local Cancer Care & Treatment

CARTI, the largest private cancer clinic in Arkansas, and Drew Memorial Hospital, a 49-bed hospital in Monticello, announce they will be partnering to deliver excellence in cancer care and treatment in Monticello.
CARTI Medical Oncologist Bijay Nair, M.D. will begin treating patients at the Drew Memorial Cancer Care Center Thursday, Feb. 28 and will continue to see patients every Thursday.
Originally from India, Dr. Bijay was most recently an assistant professor of medicine at the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS.) He received a Master of Health degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Kerala in Thiruvananthapuram, India. He also holds certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
