A meeting of local officials was called Tuesday morning at the District courtroom in Monticello.   Those in attendance included City Attorney Bill Daniels, County Attorney Cliff Gibson,  Sheriff Mark Gober, District Judge Ken Harper, District Court Clerk Mandy Hogg,  Susan Potts of the Drew County Detention Facility, and Mayor Joe Rogers.  The following business was addressed.

Recently passed legislation requires that all those convicted of felony or class A misdemeanor charges be accessed a $20.00 booking and administration.   The fee will assist in the operation of the Detention facility. The District Court Clerk will arrange for the fee to be assessed.

Officals for both the City and the County asked for clarification of policies regarding old fine collections.
