DCSO Search Warrants Lead to 2 Arrests on Speer Street
November 23rd, 2009 by Joe BurgessOn November 18, the Drew County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at a residence located at 415 Speer Street, Lot 20. Arrested at the scene were Allen B. Lewis, 26, and Antonio K. Lewis, 22, both of Monticello.
Both men were charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of a defaced firearm, as it was apparent that the serial number on the firearm was scratched in an attempt to remove it, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.
Both suspects were transported to the Drew County Detention Facility and given $2,500 bonds. Both have since bonded.
