(ACA §6-18-502) An exception to this policy may be made for students who participate in after-school activities, provided the cell phone is turned in at the office at the beginning of the school day, and is checked back out to the student at the end of the school day. Students who drive a vehicle to school may keep the phone locked in the vehicle, provided access to the vehicle and cell phone is not made during school hours. Any after-school use of cell phones is at the student’s risk. The school assumes no responsibility for loss or recovery of missing cell phones.
