Today marks the seventh anniversary of the terrorists’ attacks that killed more than 3,000 people in America and changed our nation forever.

ATTENTION - PARKING PERMITS
Students - You have had 4 weeks to purchase your parking permits. Tickets will be given out starting Monday for anyone who does not have a 2008-09 parking tag.
New teachers - You need to come by the counselor’s office and pick up a tag and then park in your numbered spot.
Subs - Please park on the first row, north end. Those spots are reserved for you.

PIRATE FOOTBALL - Tonight
The Jr. High will play Stuttgart tonight at 5:30 p.m. GO PIRATES !!!!

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES ! Friday, Sept. 12th
Sophomores don’t forget that class t-shirt order forms along with your money are due this Friday, September 12th. If you did not get an order form and need one you can pick one up from Mrs. Sass before school, at lunch or right after school. Don’t forget class dues, $20 to Mrs. Birch.

TAILGATE PARTY - Friday, Sept. 12th
The Sr. High will play our first home game on Friday, Sept. 12th against the McGehee Owls starting at 7:00 p.m. There will be a tailgate party starting at 5:30 p.m. before the game. The Booster Club is still seeking donations of chips, drinks and desserts. Anyone donating will have their name entered in a drawing for a “Spirit Basket”. If you would like to make a donation you can contact Susan Wishard at 460-0544. Most of all be sure to come out and support the Pirates !

TAILGATE DONATION BOX
There is a box setup in Mrs. Thurman’s room to collect donations for the tailgate party on Friday.

ATTENTION JUNIOR & SENIORS - Friday, Sept. 19th
All juniors and seniors will be going to UAM to visit college admissions officers on September 19. The buses will leave at 8:15 and we will be back at 9:45

REMINDER TO SENIORS ! Friday, Sept. 26th
All seniors MUST turn in a baby picture to EAST Lab by Friday, September 26th. If you do not have a baby picture, then bring an early childhood photo.

ATTENTION JUNIOR & SENIORS - Saturday, Sept. 27th
Saturday, Sept. 27th UAPB will be hosting Golden Lions High School Day starting at 1:00 p.m. There will be free admission to the football game, free food and free Step Show. Contact the UAPB Recruitment office @ 870-575-7176

TUTORING
The morning session will be from 7:15 to 7:45 and afternoons from 3:15 to 5:30.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER
• You may purchase a parking permit in the Counselor’s office for $5.00. You must have proof of insurance and driver’s license.
