Jim Sledge, owner of 4 local radio stations, provided a tour of the radio
stations to 6 Tiger Cub Scouts on Tuesday, February 5, 2008.
Mr. Sledge showed the boys how the radio station fills slots of time with
advertisements, news, and music.
The boys enjoyed speaking and listening to their voices.
The tour of the radio station helped the boys learn how news is shared and helped them meet a scouting elective. Troop 69 Dens 1 & 4 would like to thank Mr. Sledge for his time.
