didnt the city widen the city limits in places since 2000. and if they did wouldnt that be where the changes come from. so i dont think we have grown as a city or shrunk as a county.
well, unless old info was used, we were never contacted or sent a questionaire for the census. was wondering if maybe the thoroughness of this last census was at question due to staffing and budget cuts???
Seems to me that people are leaving these towns like Monticello, Dermott, Pine Bluff, ect. to live in places with LESS crime, BETTER schools, MORE job opportunites, ect. I, myself, will be leaving Monticello before my kid starts school. It’s gotten crazy around here, and it’s going nowhere FAST.
