Cotton Blossoms Visit Their Biggest Fan In Hospital
Published by Joe Burgess March 17th, 2008 in UAM Sports.UAM’s Cotton Blossoms scored big last week, especially in the opinion of Gene Norton, their biggest fan.
Gene Norton is one of the biggest Blossom fans in town. He never misses a game if he can help it.
Recently he had to have spinal surgery on the day of the last home game. The team took a detour and time out of their trip to the GSC tournement to come to the Baptist Rehab in Little Rock and visit with him. Needless to say he was surprised and extremely happy to see them.
Gene and his family want to thank Coach Chris and and all the ladies for their friendship and for the visit.
The top photo was taken on Feb 14th, the last game he attended. The bottom picure was taken at the BHRI on the 4th of March.

This was an awesome thing for the team to do!!! How awesome it was for Gene I am sure and for his Family…I have known them all my lfie and there is no one more special than him!!! he deserved this!!! Thanks to the team and coach’s for making that effort!!!! what a beautiful thing!
