Drain Under Drew Theater Collapses – Video

Over the years, a drain line, which runs under the old Drew Theater building, collapsed. Ad the line collapsed, a lot of dirt surrounding the line washed away, causing a section of floor inside the theater room to collapse, as well.
Building owner Bud Bulloch told the members of the council that were at a committee meeting, Tuesday night, that he would repair of the building, as long as they would reroute the drain line, which they are working on currently.
Many good memories of this old building! I attended movies there as a child and my children went there where it was an arcade. I wish it could be renovated for some type of business. Just don’t have any ideas for what kind of business.
