Oak Grove Assembly of God’s 15 passenger van caught fire Wednesday evening. Youth minister Chad Murphy said that he heard what sounded like a belt snap, and when he pulled over, he saw flames coming out of the grill of the 1986 Dodge passenger van. He was able to evacuate the youth from the van who were traveling with him. By the time the Monticello Fire Department arrived to put out the blaze, the entire vehicle had been engulfed and flames were as high as 20 feet. No one was hurt in the incident.
