Channel 7 Covering Local Story, But Is Off the Air
Published by Joe Burgess January 11th, 2008 in Police /Legal.As reported, Channel 7 is covering the Bobby Hampton story, and Michelle Rupp was in Monticello doing interviews earlier today.
But……….
The newscast won’t be seen in the southern section of Arkansas.
Channel 7’s 2000 foot tall antenna at Redfield collapsed at 12:45 this afternoon, while crews were re-stringing guide wires, and will be off the air in the area for 2-3 days.
Satellite customers who receive local channels may be able to watch the newscast if the satellite transmission lines are able to be re-connected in time.
KTHV Channel 11 will probably cover the story on their 5, 6, & 10 o’clock newscasts.
KLRT Fox 16 will have it on at least one of their local news, as well, and are currently working on the story.
KARK Channel 4 will show it on their 10 PM edition.
