Centepoint Energy Contributes $2,500 to MFD for Training
May 18th, 2012 by Mandy MossCenterPoint Energy presented the Monticello Fire Department with a check for $2,500 during Thursday night’s City Council meeting. The money is part of a community partnership grant that is offered to cities to help local fire and police departments with their commitment to safety. The money presented to MFD will go towards purchasing four new defibrillators that will be kept on fire trucks, and be used to aid in training exercises.
