MLive has confirmed that Monticello head football coach Robbie Coplin has resigned from the school district, to accept an offensive coordinator position in Texas.

A copy of his brief letter of resignation, along with a Twitter post about his new position are included in this article.

Finals of the Joe T Robinson baseball tournament between The Billies and J.T. Robinson had to be cancelled due to rain and lightning. Monticello Billies and Joe T Robinson were names co-champions! Congrats to Nick Griffin on being named to the All Tournament team!
