In a puzzling, but ongoing situation, the Drew County 911 system is currently unavailable to answer landline calls.

Authorities are aware of the situation, and are working to remedy it, and also understand why it keeps happening.

According to the State DFA, beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.

The State of Arkansas will hold its sales tax holiday allowing shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain School Supplies, School Art Supplies, School Instructional Materials, and clothing free of state and local sales or use tax.
