Around 9 PM, Thursday night, another round of freight powered Entergy powerlines Inn Monticello work energized. This brought the total of disabled customers to under 2000, for the first time since Sunday evening.

Just a few minutes ago, extremely strong severe thunderstorm wins passed through Monticello and the surrounding areas in Drew County downing several trees and powerlines.

Many roadways are blocked, and residents are requested to stay home until roadways can be opened.
