This guy was on the porch when I got up this morning. Is acting like a house dog, wanting in and wanting attention. No Collar, but is a young well fed male with a bobbed tail. Not like the usual look of a dumped dog down here on Ozment Bluff. If it’s yours please call 870-367-1096.

This black dog, no other information available, was found at 2:30 in the back circle of Western Pines.

The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for duct taping a dog’s neck and snout, and subsequently abandoning the dog in Drew County, Arkansas. (more…)

A fellow was recently looking for a lost dog near the Interfor scalehouse.

He didn’t leave a number, but his dog is still in the area.

If you know the owner please let him know to contact me there again.

This big, friendly cat showed up at our house in Vivian Manor.  We’ll be unable to keep him, so we really would like to find his owners.  He isn’t neutered, appears to be well taken-care of, and is obviously somebody’s pet.

Anyone who recognizes him should call 870-723-6785.

The one on the left is a schnauzer/yorkie mix with salt and pepper hair male, and answers to the name Buckwheat. The one on the right is a mostly white yorkie/snorkie mix female and answers to the name of Wheezer. They were last seen on Towler lane past the Monticello Sports Complex on 278.

Our 1 year old female lab,Charlie, has been missing since January 9th.We live on Garnett Rd in Monticello if anyone has seen her please let us know.

She is micro-chipped and has an orange collar on, but there is no info on her collar. Call #870-226-3500 or 870-460-5310.   This is a family pet and very loved.  Reward offered if found.

More discussion is planned for next months meeting, specifically own flea market set up selling animals.

The need to have some type of control over cats was also brought up.
