Trae Milburn celebrated his 8th birthday, Friday night, by inviting his friends not to bring gifts for himself, but a bag of dog food to donate to a local animal rescue shelter! His goal was 5 lbs, but he was able to exceed that goal tremendously!

With the help of all of his friends and family, Trae was able to donate 147 lbs of dog food! When delivered, Mrs. Vicky Smith said, “We currently have around 100 dogs that we are caring for, with over 17 puppies being dropped off this week.”

Trae hopes that his good deed goes to encourage others his age to practice acts of selflessness and giving… No matter how big or small! Every little bit counts!

Wee Man is a black and white cat with a white face and large green eyes. He is about 9 months old, a little small for his age but plump.

He somehow escaped the house on Monday night and we have been unable to find him. He is greatly missed and we very much want him home.
