Drew County Historical Society will meet tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce office.

NAACP chapter 6042 will honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday Saturday morning with a community wide memorial march beginning at 8 a.m. at the Monticello square, and ending at Holmes Chapel Church on E. McCloy Street.
Buses will be available half way through the walk for those who need them.

Local resident, Dawn Campagna, is organizing a new chapter of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly).  The first meeting will be held January 8 (Tuesday).
 The weigh-in will be at 5:30 and the meeting will begin at 6:00.  It will be held at the First Baptist Church. (Enter through the north entrance.)

Monticello Music Club Meeting  set for tonigt has been re-scheduled to Tuesday, January 15, at 7:00 pm in the home of Barbara Abston, 219 W Bolling Street, Monticello.  Guests and members are invited to attend.

The Southeast Arkansas Cornerstone Coalition, Inc. monthly meeting will be held January 9, 2008, 2:00pm at the Crossett Economic Development Foundation, 125 Main Street, Crossett, AR.
