Cole Nash bagged his first deer, a 9 point with 19 1/2 inch spread

Nathan Rogers harvested his first deer, an eight point, Thanksgiving morning, while hunting with his grandfather, south of Monticello.

Reagan Berryman, age 11, killed this 13 point deer while hunting with his dad in Drew County. He is the son of Jamie and Tiffany Berryman of the Green Hill Community.

Mallie Mullins killed her first deer on Saturday, November 12th while hunting with her dad. This 6 point buck was killed in Bussey, Arkansas.

Mallie is a 6th grader at Monticello Middle School.

She is the 12 year old daughter of Doug and Shelly Mullins of Monticello.

Cade Chambers, 10 of Monticello killed this 8 point while hunting Sat 11.12 with his grandfather. Cade is the son of Jason and Brande-Jaggers Ward of Monticello and Chris and Alissa Chambers of Benton.

Shay Hood shot this 7 point Deer at The Tommy Funderburg Hunting Lease near Midway Route, while hunting with her fiancé Brancdon Cowling.

This was her first buck deer, and was shot on opening day.

Josh Shepherd killed this 7 point, on Nov 5, the opening day of youth hunt in Drew County.

He attends Monticello Schools and First Freewill Baptist of Star City.

He is the 10 year old son of Paul and Melissa Shepherd.

Sofia Fair killed this 9pt during the youth hunt while hunting with her dad in Bradley County.

Grace Smith, age 9, killed her first deer, a doe, on November 6, 2011, while hunting with her Dad, Mom, and sister on the youth hunt.

She is the daughter of Brian and Mitzi Smith.

Austin Reap killed this 8 Point while hunting with his dad Sammie, this past Saturday during the Youth Hunt.

Selby Best, age 9, killed her first deer on October 23, 2011 with a muzzle loader while hunting with her dad.

It was four-point buck. She is the daughter of Tommy and Kristi Best.

While hunting with his grandpa, Finis Bittle, during the muzzleloader hunt, Bradley Bittle killed this 5 point. This isnt his first but its the best so far.

Hunting with his dad and good friend Cole Harris at Diamond Point Hunting Club, Kevin Stain killed his first deer, a 132 lbs doe, over the weekend.

Monticello’s Coltin Hampton’s recent Kansas hunting trip is featured in this article of Dream Season on Drury Outdoors.

Coltin is 15 years old and attends Drew Central High School.

Doug Hampton, a Monticello resident and Drury Outdoors team member, along with his wife Brandy and 13 year old son Coltin, were chosen this past fall to be a part of the popular Outdoor Channel television show “Dream Season.” The title for this year’s show is Dream Season 7 “Celebrity”. Four of the regular Drury teams were asked to take on a national celebrity for a hunting partner, as well as hunt and video their immediate family.

Hampton and team mate Rod Owen of Missouri, teamed up with J.W. Hart from the Professional Bull Riders association(P.B.R.) to form “Team Hart”. Team Hart took twelve animals on video this season consisting of eleven bucks and a boar hog. Hampton and his family accounted for five of the bucks and the hog. (more…)
