David Menotti, the canine officer for Monticello Police Dept. won the Marion Township Constable republican runoff election, Tuesday, with a total vote count of 37–13 over Joshua Henley, a Lincoln County Deputy, who has dropped out of the race.
Marion Township covers all of Monticello, and approximately 1 mile around it.

Only 21 votes have been cast in the Republican runoff election for Marion Township constable, which covers all of Monticello, and approximately 1 mile around it.
David Menotti, the canine officer for Monticello Police Department is seeking the office, against Joshua Henley, a Lincoln County Deputy, who has dropped out of the race.
Early voting ends today.
Election day is tomorrow.

9 (0.6%) Nonpartisan
The high Republican vote is due to the County Judge and County Clerk races both being decided on that ballot.
The Democratic ballot contained the State Representative race.
School board and Judicial races were on all three ballot choices.
