30 minutes later, they faced Eage Pass, TX (game 17) and won their second game of the day with a 12-3 victory.
Wednesday is Championship Game day, with the excitement starting at 5:30 p.m.

1 Comment Published by Joe Burgess July 16th, 2008 in Baseball.The 11 year old all-stars (Monticello Mallards) finished third in the state tourney last week in El Dorado. They now advance to the regional tournament in Magnolia, beginning on Friday.
The tournament will be in the ”pool play” format with the top eight teams advancing to a single elimination tournament. Here’s the game schedule.

After playing for several days against teams from all over central and south Arkansas, the Monticello Bombers came in 3rd place with a record of 6-2.

Participating teams were Monticello Mallards (11 yr olds), Monticello Titans (10 yr olds), Warren and Crossett.

Monticello’s 15 year old Babe Ruth all stars won the 14-15 year old division of the second annual Burlington Bash Invitational Tournament held this past weekend in Monticello.

The Monticello 13 year Old All-Stars finished first in their pool, in the 2nd Annual Burlington Bash.
They beat Pine Bluff Seabrook 25-3, Saturday morning, and beat Warren’s 15 year old team 7-5, Saturday night.
