According to Fountain Hill City Hall, the city’s water service is out of commission, The town‘s water tank has been drained, due to a major leak, that three crews are currently searching for, this morning.
Around 5:30, yesterday evening, troubles were noticed, which have led to the tank’s contents being drained, and the system being connected to the Hamburg Water supply, which should be online to supply Fountain Hill, later this morning.
Around 2 PM Hamburg Police Chief Johnny Oliver confirmed that the missing 12-year-old, from earlier this morning had been safely recovered, a couple blocks away from his home.
Chief Oliver also wanted to thank all area residents who helped in the search and spread the word about the missing child.
Shown above, is the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission search dog, assisting in the search.
The meeting began with a heated discussion about the president of the school board being allowed to make motions, seconds and vote as a regular school board member.
The board went into executive session for over an hour, before coming out and taking a vote which was tied 3-3, causing the recommendation by superintendent Tracy Streeter to move head football coach Cecil Ray Cossey to athletic director to fail.
The motion to approve the recommendation was made by James Hartshorn, and seconded by Jim Wells.
Wells, Hartshorn and Shawn Carpenter voted in favor.
Board members Debbie Jackson, Suzanne Singleton & Maggie Ware voted against.
Shawn Hickman recused herself, due to a family relationship with Cossey.
(Thursday rally is cancelled.)
I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for your support. I have been touched deeply by the over 400 calls and text messages of encouragement over the last two days not to mention the outcry of support on social media from former players, parents, and community members.

Just 3 months ago, Hamburg and the rest of Southeast Arkansas was covered in deep snow.
While many folks just took the opportunity to stay inside, several Hamburg students formed the “Mud Patrol“ to help out neighbors and others who were stranded by the weather.
Several vehicles were pulled out of yards, many bags of groceries were delivered, not to mention dozens of other good deeds that took place that week.
This week, with temperatures in the 80s and getting warmer, seems like an appropriate time to recognize “a good deed“ from Hamburg’s next generation.
