7 Candidates File for Offices

County sheriff Mark Gober was the first candidate to file for reelection, at noon, Monday. Gober is seeking reelection.
Justice of the Peace for District 7, Patty Mitchell, was next, filing to maintain her seat on the county quorum court.
County Judge Robert Akin, an Independent, wasthe only non-– Democrat to file, Monday.
Other candidates filing included;
Tommy Gray – JP District 5
Carole Bulloch -JP District 4
Amanda Orr – Wilmar Recorder, Treasurer
James Slaughter – Saline Constable
