C. B. King Child Care Centers are accepting applications for a sub pool from which full-time licensed, certified special education teachers; part-time and full-time classroom teacher aids; bus drivers and bus attendants may be chosen.

Required level of education for special education position is an Arkansas Teaching license or equivalent with special education certification. Preferred level of education for classroom teacher aids is an Associate degree (60+ college credit hours) with an emphasis in early childhood education or child development. Required minimal level of education for classroom teachers is a current Child Development Associate (CDA certificate). Bus drivers with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are preferred. Minimal requirements for bus drivers are: a valid driver’s license with a 3-year “clean” driving record.

All applicants must be able to pass a Child Maltreatment Background Check, a Criminal Background Check, and an Adult Maltreatment Background Check.
