The final meeting to secure a VOLUNTEER staff for the Boys and Girls Club will be this Thursday, February 7th, at 3:30pm.

The meeting will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of Drew County.  Volunteers are needed from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, February 11th.

Firm commitments must be secured by Thursday for the Club to re-open as scheduled.

Almost 200 Drew County kids and their families are counting on the Boys & Girls Club to re-open on Monday, Feb. 11.  The question is will it.  The Club has been an asset to Drew County for over a decade.  If the community wishes for the re-opening date to remain, the community must take personal responsibility to see that it does.

The Club needs volunteers to commit to hours between  3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on a temporary basis.  You don’t have to be there five days a week, or four hours each day.  However, if you wish to keep the re-opening day on Monday, you must commit.

The Club will re-open but without your personal commitment the re-opening will be delayed. Limited positions can be paid.  If you have any questions, please call 723-7369 or 367-6102.
