i was totally amazed to see so many people who were willing to support a great cause…the parking lot was packed and people were having to use adjoining parking areas to go in and either get what they had pre-ordered or just to drop in and make a purchase on the way. What a wonderful show of support. Larry and his family continue to be in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.
I have been so touched by the way everyone has come together for Larry in this fund raiser. So many of our police officers and our guys at SouthEast worked from early Friday Morning through the night cooking for this. Lots and Lots of hard work has gone into this. Several of area business have donated items, and the reponse from our town has just been amazing. I am blessed to work at SouthEast, and have a boss that gives back to his community. It also is great to see everyone including our police chief, roll up their sleeves and work so hard, for so long. Even MonticelloLive’s Joe worked several hours manning the grills.I love being a part of this large caring FAMILY.Monticello is such a great place to live.
God will bless all that worked so hard to pull this off. These guys can really grill and the women worked just as hard.Sometime we only hear bad things,it’s nice to be able to see the good these people do for their own. Thanks for letting God use all of you.
