Junior Becca Sustaire (Hallsville, Texas) moved to 5-7 on the season with a complete-game win after allowing only one run off two hits and striking out five batters in seven full innings of work.

Junior Lindsey Randall (Keithville, La.) aided the Blossoms to a win in the second game after going a perfect three for three at the plate with one RBI and two runs scored.

The Blossoms put half of their runs on the board in the bottom of the third inning, starting with an RBI-single from Randall that scored senior Gemma Gibson (Dodd City, Texas), who singled to left center earlier in the inning. Later in the inning, senior starting pitcher Kate Brady (Longview, Texas) drove in Randall with a single to center field.

Brady threw a complete game on her way to moving to 4-5 overall this season. She allowed three runs off six hits and struck out three of the 29 batters she faced.
