LR Christian 35, Billies 20, FINAL,
Published by Joe Burgess November 16th, 2007 in Monticello School Sports.The Little Rock Christian Warriors defeated the Monticello Billies by a score of 35-20 to end the Billies season in Little Rock.
The Billies have turned the momentum around in the second half, with 2 touchdowns, but the most important thing is the way the Blue defense was able to hold the Warriors in check in the second half.
The Billies team held on until the end with near interceptions, that continued to give hope, right up to the final few minutes.
The Billies defeated Hot Springs last Friday at Hyatt Field in order to qualify for the 2nd round of the tournament.
GO BILLIES! IT WAS A GREAT YEAR.
