Billies to Honor Zach Towers, Injured Star City Player

November 6th, 2012 by

Friday night, the MHS BIllies will travel to Pea Ridge for their first playoff game of the 2012 season. They will be joining other conference teams in 8-4A South in wearing the number 16 on their helmets in honor of Zach Towers, the Star City player that was injured in Thursday night’s game. Zach continues to need our prayers, so as we cheer on our billies, please remember Zach and his family during this very serious time.

Wednesday during lunch, around 11:20, student are invited to join Ryan Copico, a minister at Pauline Baptist, and a former teacher, at the campus flag pole to pray for Star City Sr. Zach Towers.

MLive spoke to a family member, last night, who said that Zach’s condition remains the same, and asked for the continued prayers of their friends and neighbors in southeast Arkansas.
