Susan Jasay recently was traveling in eastern Ashley County on HWY 82 and took this video of a bear removing a “roadkill” deer from the ditchbank.
That “patch” of woods borders Drew County.

Powerful, yes. And the unspoken lesson — the bear had absolutely no fear of the car or the humans.
This video was taken just west of Snyder on HWY 82.
This big boar is not the only one roaming around.
Way too close to home!
Bear’s pretty smart, too. Notice how the bear throws the deer on top of the fence, uses it as a bridge, then drags it off.
