The City of Monticello is currently taking applications for a Full time or  Part-Time Advertising & Promotion Administrative Assistant. This individual will be the sole contact between the public, City Hall and the Advertising & Promotion Commission. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Must have the ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office software as well as learn other computer-based software as needed. Must have the ability to handle high call volumes in a professional manner and multi-task. Experience in general marketing strategies and web maintenance/design. Applicant must have the desire to learn within a municipal environment and be able to interact with the public in a professional manner.  Preferred level of education is a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Deadline to apply May 1, 2025.

Mainline Health Systems, Inc. is thrilled to announce that it has received grant funding from the Blue & You Foundation to support the purchase of sleep sacks for infants, promoting a safe sleep environment and reducing the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

The Blue & You Foundation, established by Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, provides funding for health improvement initiatives in Arkansas. This grant award acknowledges MHSI’s commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of infants in our community.

Sleep sacks are a crucial component of a safe sleep environment, as they help prevent SIDS by keeping infants on their backs and preventing overheating. With this grant funding, MHSI will be able to provide sleep sacks to families who may not have access to this essential resource.
