Asa visits Monticello on first day of early voting
Published by Jeff October 23rd, 2006 in News.
Asa Hutchinson, former U.S. Congressman for Arkansas’ Third District and current candidate for governor of Arkansas, visited Monticello just after lunch today on a campaign bus tour of south Arkansas. Hutchinson addressed a crowd of about 50 at the town square, calling Monticello one of the "jewels of south Arkansas." After describing some of his campaign distinctives, he visited with local business leaders and citizens. Before departing to his next stop, Asa participated in an interview for a MonticelloLive podcast.
