Armed Robbery at Monticello Store Monday Afternoon
Published by Joe Burgess June 24th, 2008 in Police /Legal.According to the Monticello Police Dept, around 3:30, Monday afternoon, 2 unknown black males, wearing masks, possibly hose over their faces, entered Brown-Calhoun Store on N. Gabbert, displaying a gun, and took a small amount of cash from the business.
A wallet was also taken from a man who at the store, at the time of the robbery.
The investigation is continuing for the 2 men, who left the store on foot, heading in a southeastern direction.
