 A proposed exemption to Arkansas Game and Fish Commission regulations concerning the possession of handguns on the state’s wildlife management areas was presented to commissioners at last week’s monthly meeting in Jonesboro. The proposal would allow holders of an Arkansas-recognized concealed handgun license to be exempt from firearm restrictions during certain hunting seasons. 

GREENBRIER – Man versus deer is not always a one-sided contest in favor of the human.  Ron Shock of Greenbrier found himself in a second-best situation with a confrontation with a buck on the third day of the modern gun hunting season. The buck whipped Shock then ran off.

MONTICELLO - Striking purple flowers, lush green leaves and incredible growth without any maintenance – sounds like the water gardener’s dream plant.
