Area Artists K-12 Compete in Southeast Regional Art Show
Published by UAM News January 29th, 2008 in Drew Central News, Monticello School News.Every year ten counties (Jefferson, Cleveland, Lincoln, Desha, Calhoun, Drew, Bradley, Union, Ashley, and Chicot) send their best works of art from students in grades Kindergarten through the Twelfth Grade to compete in the Southeast Regional Art Show.
Pieces have already been hung in the Spencer Gallery at the University of Monticello. There will be a closing reception on February 2 at 1:30 pm and an awards ceremony at 2:00pm. We invite you to come and view the wonderful hard work, creativity and success of these young
students. The first place winners will have their artwork sent to AETN for a spring showing to celebrate the talent of art students all across Arkansas.
