Air-Evac Closes Camden Base

Air-Evac Lifeteam, a helicopter ambulance service that serves Drew County, has closed their Camden base.
They, along with other similar services, provide emergency transports from Drew Memorial to other larger hospitals.
What has set Air-Evac apart from the rest, is their ability to land at or near accident scenes on highways, hills, or fields out in the county.
Air-Evac still serves Drew County, as the operation of the Greenville Mississippi base has not been changed.
Drew County and the City of Monticello provide Air-Evac memberships to their employees, as an employee benefit.
