After 20 Years of Service, Dunlap Not Seeking JP Re-election

After serving the citizens of Drew County for 20 years, District 3 Justice of the Peace Louis Dunlap will not seek re-election at the end of his current term.
Dunlap told MonticelloLive, “I want to thank the people of district 3 for their support. I will have complete 20 years of service on the Quorum Court, at the end of this year, and hopefully someone else will come along and be able to do the their best to serve the citizens of Drew County.”

For those who don’t know, Mr. Dunlap is a retired educator who gave many years of dedicated services.
Mr. Dunlap taught me at UAM. He was a wonderful teacher. He always took time and explained things to me. Special thanks for all you help. You are greatly appreciated.
