The Arkansas Children’s Hospital Dental Outreach team is at Drew Central this week, and scheduled to come  May 19-22.

Arkansas Children’s Hospital has created a dental outreach program to provide comprehensive dental care to children in Southeast Arkansas. This group was formed due to the Natural Wonders report, which found that the treatment of cavities was an unmet health need for Arkansas children. The Dental Outreach Program’s goal is to meet each child’s oral health needs for those who qualify. To qualify a child must not be an active patient in a dental practice nor have private dental insurance, other than Medicaid or ArKids First.

At your child’s first appointment, ACH dental staff will clean your child’s teeth and find dental problems. They will also educate your child on prevention. Onsite follow up appointments are then scheduled to repair problems. All of the dental services are at no cost to you and your family.
