The Clear Creek Fire Department’s annual fundraiser will be held Saturday, July 4th at the Rock Springs United Methodist Church.
BBQ pork plates will be served at 7:00 p.m. for a donation.
TheFireworks show is scheduled at sunset.
Market in the Park will be open Saturday, July 4, at 8:00 a.m.
Brett Stewart and Bill Burchfield will present a gospel music concert at the park starting around 9 am.
The usual produce, food, and arts & crafts vendors will be there as well.
Come join us at the mini park located next to the courthouse.

The Monticello Festival and Events Association will begin planning the 2016 Arkansas Forest Festival at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 16 at city hall.
The festival is scheduled for April 1-2, 2016. Everyone interested in helping plan the event and/or volunteering during the event should make plans to attend this meeting.

The local nurse, who was being sought in connection with the alleged April illegal abortion of a local woman was arrested Friday, on a warrant out of the Drew County Circuit Court.
