Home Invasion by Recent Parolee Earns $25,000 Bond

On Saturday at 2:28 am, a Drew County Sheriffs Deputy was dispatched to a home on a side road located off of Highway 425 S., for what was described in court as a home invasion, where the homeowner was threatened by an intoxicated neighbor, after he had kicked in the front door of the residence.
Sources report that Bradley Hall, the arrestee in this case, had been released from prison just seven weeks before, on the charges of second-degree battery of a family member.
Aside from kicking in the door, Hall then reportedly threw kitchen chairs around, destroying several things in the residence.
When the deputy arrived, the victim told him that Hall was next-door, where he lived.
The officer identified himself, before entering the open door of the house, finding the suspect asleep on the couch, and placed him under arrest.
There is also a parole hold on Hall.
Judge Robert Gibson set his bond at $25,000, as suggested by the prosecuting attorney.
