Woods Fire, Burning Structures, Closes 277, From Coleman to Highway 293. – Controlled at 6:45 PM

A woods fire, reported at 3:45, Monday, burned a church and what was reported to be a deer camp, as well as several acres of timberland.
The fire also crossed Highway 277 near the Florence Baptist Church, which we do not believe received any damage, but totally consumed the Florence Full Gospel Church, nearby.
Responding fire departments included Selma, Tillar, Winchester, Collins-Cominto, Monticello, and the Arkansas Forestry Commission.
The highway was closed from Coleman to the 277 intersection, from 3:45, until 6:45, when the fire was contained and extinguished
