ASHLEY COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION

PROCLAMATION AND DESIGNATION OF POLLING PLACES

WHEREAS the Ashley County Election Commission does hereby call the City of Hamburg Special Mayoral Election to be held on June 8, 2021, for the City of Hamburg, Ashley County, Arkansas.

WHEREAS, the Ashley County Election Commission of Ashley County, Arkansas, is required by law to issue a proclamation setting forth the vote centers for said City of Hamburg Special Mayoral Election and to notify the qualified voters of the City of Hamburg of the matters to be presented on the ballot for their consideration:

NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

1. That there will a City of Hamburg Special MayoralElection on June 8, 2021.

2. All voting, which includes EARLY AND ELECTION DAY VOTING will be done at the Ashley County Courthouse, 205 East Jefferson Street, in Hamburg, Arkansas.

3. EARLY VOTING DATES AND HOURS are as follows:

Tuesday, June 1, 2021 – Friday, June 4, 2021 from 08:00 a.m. until 04:30 p.m.

Monday, June 7, 2021 from 08:00 a.m. until 04:30 p.m.

ELECTION DAY HOURS:

Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 07:30 a.m. until 07:30 p.m.

4. Ashley County Election Commission will begin canvassing, processing, opening and counting absentee ballots on June 8th, 2021, at 05:00 p.m. in the Ashley County Clerk’s Office, 205 East Jefferson Street, Suite #5, Hamburg, AR.

5. The office and name of candidates that will appear on the City of Hamburg Special Election ballots are as follows:
