Comprehensive Pain Care Seeking Staff Members

Comprehensive Pain Care is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a pain management clinic in Monticello, Arkansas. Interested candidates must have current RN license in the state of AR.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Monday -Thursday 7:00-5:00
– Provides and facilitates competent health care of patients and families in area of practice. Ensures adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice.
– Performs advanced nursing activities, which can include assisting with procedures using conscious sedation and placement of IV’s
– Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate.
– Assess patients in procedural area, both pre and post procedure, review medication, allergies, medical history, and obtain vital signs
– Assists Injectionists with procedures (epidural, nerve block, joint injection, radiofrequency nerve ablation, etc)
– Triage phone calls, complete prior authorizations, injection screening, and MRI screenings
– Order Lab tests, Review of Prescription Monitoring Program.
– Scheduling MRI and Referrals
– Proficient Computer skills
– Obtain medical records and procedural clearance
– Demonstrates leadership and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively with others.
– Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
– Comply with all HIPAA laws.
Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing
Current Unencumbered Arkansas License
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Certification
A minimum of 6 months of clinical experience
Compensation will be discussed during interview.**
